The NHS COVID-19 app has been downloaded over 21 million times. It was the first app in the world to use GAEN ExposureWindow interface, using with novel Bayesian statistical methods. Our latest research demonstrates that the app has been able to reduce the number of cases by approximately 600,000. The app data are providing valuable insights into the evolution of the pandemic across England and Wales. In this presentation, I will provide an overview of the NHS COVID-19 app, the impact results, and our potential future directions.
